This work features wheel-thrown and altered porcelain forms inspired by the Victorian Era. I add detail through slip-trailing, carving, hand-formed flowers, and incorporate cake decorating techniques by piping designs using clay slip. I highlight the ornate decoration through the use of gold luster and by setting stones in center of each flower during the leather-hard state.
